The Adams Home project, encompassing approximately 444 sq. ft., involves the remodelling of the entryway, living room, and dining room for a young family in Montreal. With two young children, the redesign focuses on balancing elegance for entertaining with kid-friendly comfort. The design embraces a Zen atmosphere with a Scandinavian touch, creating a harmonious, serene environment. The selection of all-new furniture, except for a cherished stool, allows for a cohesive, modern aesthetic, while incorporating extra storage solutions to maintain practicality and organization in a family home.

The layout is optimized for flow, encouraging smooth movement between the entryway, living, and dining spaces, while still maintaining defined areas. The living room, a key entertainment area, integrates a concealed television to maintain visual tranquility, alongside a sleek mantel as a focal point. A light, neutral colour palette defines the space, with warm wood tones and minimalistic, natural materials enhancing the Scandinavian influence. The selection of soft, muted tones paired with natural textures like wood and stone balances simplicity with sophistication, making the space both inviting and calming.
